Gather a white or off-white table runner, black Sharpie, washable paint in a variety of colors, paper plate, paintbrush, cup of water, and paper towels.
Lay the runner on the table and write, “I am thankful for family!” somewhere with the black Sharpie.
Using the paintbrush, take turns brushing a color of paint on each family members hand.
Place each painted hand on the runner and press down, leaving a handprint.
You can either use the same color paint on each person’s hand or switch it up. If switching it up, make sure to wash your hands in between, as well as the paintbrush.
Dip the paintbrush in the cup of water and dry it off with a paper towel.
Continue until your banner is full and each family member has participated!
This would be great to use for Thanksgiving Day as you eat together and talk about how thankful you are for family!
