Match the Names

Gather butcher paper, a marker, painter’s tape, and post-it notes.

Tape the paper to the wall.

Talk about who you can tell about Jesus and write their names on the butcher paper.

Write the same names on the post-it notes.

Have your child match the names by putting the post-it notes on the butcher paper.

We can tell others that Jesus loves us and wants to be our friend forever!

Kite Cookies

Gather cookie dough, a plate, a knife, licorice (pull and peel), and icing.

Bake the cookies and then cut them into triangle shapes.

Outline the kite with icing.

Next, draw a cross in the middle.

Peel the licorice and place at the bottom for the kite’s tail. When you’re done, share the cookies with a friend to show that you love them!

Jesus is such a good friend. We can be a good friend too by sharing and loving!

Fish for Breakfast

Gather a piece of construction paper, a marker, scissors, Cheerios®, and double-sided tape.

Draw a fish on the paper.

Cut out the fish and then place vertical strips of tape on the back half of the fish.

Place Cheerios on the tape to give the fish scales.

Jesus cooked and ate breakfast on the beach with His friends. He loved them so much and He loves you too!

Spell His Name

Gather a piece of a paper, a marker, and Play-Doh®.

Write “JESUS” on the piece of paper.

Spell “Jesus” using the Play-Doh.

God sent us Jesus to be our friend forever!
