The Ark

Gather two small tortillas, 3 pretzel sticks,
2 graham cracker squares, animal crackers, and a plate.

Tear two tortillas into halves. Lay one half of a tortilla at the center of the bottom of the plate. Then lay two more tortilla halves on top of the tortilla at the bottom of the plate, off-centered.

Break the graham crackers into rectangles. Lay two of the graham cracker rectangles at the top of the tortillas, centered.  Then lay another graham rectangle at the top of the other graham crackers pieces, centered.

Next, lay a pretzel stick, slanted, on either side of the top graham cracker, meeting at a point in the center. Then break the last pretzel stick in half and lay it in between the graham cracker and top point of the pretzel sticks.

Finally, place 3 pairs of animals on the “ark.”

Now you can eat and enjoy your snack! While you eat it, talk about how Noah trusted God and did what He said. He built a huge ark and put two of every animal on it.

Blast Off

You will need a kiwi, a banana, strawberries, melon, popsicle sticks, plate

Slice your fruit.

Assemble your rocket by alternating the kiwi and banana slices. Use the strawberry for the tip of the rocket and the melon for the blasters. You may need toothpicks to attach the melon.

Let’s blast off into a new year!

God Loves Me!

You will need multiple colors of paint, cotton balls,
clothespins, a paper plate, a foam or cardstock heart,
a canvas or piece of white cardstock, easily removable tape.

Place easily removable tape on your heart and stick it to your canvas. You could easily do multiple hearts if you wanted!

Put small amounts of paint on a paper plate and prepare your clothespin and cotton ball “paintbrushes.”

Encourage your preschooler to fill the white space with all the color he wants.

Remove the heart to discover a one of a kind painting!

Hearts remind us of love, and no one loves us more than God does!

Follow the Plan!

Gather your Duplo® blocks or Legos® - be sure you have several of multiple different colors

Create a pattern with two colors.
Tell your preschooler you have a PLAN for him
and then have him follow the PLAN to complete a row of the pattern.

Create multiple other patterns (PLANS) and have your preschooler finish those too.

As you play with your preschooler, talk about PLANS and how God has the best plans for us.

God Made Me!

Gather scraps of construction paper and/or
scrapbooking paper, scissors, and glue sticks.

Help your preschooler use the scraps to create a picture of him or her.  Then, fill in your facial features with crayons.

God made your eyes, your nose, your mouth, your hair.

God made your arms and your legs. God made you! And, He loves you very much.

Continue the fun and celebrate that God made us all by making pictures of everyone in the family. Hang them on the wall for everyone to see!
