Prayer Pail

Gather a small bucket or pail, a piece of construction paper, markers, scissors, tape, and a handful of craft sticks.

Cut a fun shape out of the construction paper (make sure it will fit on your pail).

Write “Our Prayer Pail” on the piece of cutout paper.

Tape the piece of paper onto your pail.

Talk with your child about people you can pray for. Write their responses down on the craft sticks.

Place all of the craft sticks in the pail and place it in a prominent place in your home. One great place for it is your dining table. You could pull out a craft stick at each meal and pray for the person written on that particular stick.

When you finish, say a quick prayer with your child for each person written on a craft stick. Talk about how thankful you are that you can pray and that God taught us how to pray.
