Palm Sunday Sundae

Gather green ice cream, some type of edible leaves such as mint or sage, a bowl, and a spoon.

Scoop ice cream into the bowl.

Tear off the leaves from the stems, so they will look more like palm branches, and place them in the bowl.

Palm Sunday is a special day to celebrate Jesus! I am so glad Jesus wants to be our friend forever!

Sidewalk Heart

Gather masking tape and sidewalk chalk.

Create a geometric-shaped heart with masking tape in the driveway.

Color in each section of the heart with chalk.

Remove the tape and be impressed with your creation!

We can love like Jesus by helping others, sharing with others, and being a good friend. We can love everyone!

Wash the Dishes

Gather a large plastic bin with soapy water, a separate bowl with clean water, a towel, a scrub brush or sponge, and play dishes.

Put all of the dishes in the soapy water.

Wash the dishes and then rinse them in the clean water.

Set them on the towel to dry.

Jesus washed His friends’ feet to show that He loved them. You can be a good friend and love like Jesus too!

Glow Jar

Gather a clear cup or jar with lid, glow sticks, scissors, and a dark room.

Crack the sticks so they start to glow.

Carefully, cut off the end of a stick and pour the liquid into the jar.

Go into a dark room and watch your jar glow!

You can shine your light bright and love others like Jesus loves us!

Heart Stack

Gather different colored construction paper or foam sheets, a marker, and scissors.

Draw a different-sized heart on each color paper.

Cut out the hearts.

Stack the hearts from largest to smallest.

Jesus loves you, no matter what! There is nothing you could do to make Him stop loving you.

Soldier Snack

Gather a plate, pretzel sticks, Pocky sticks, Strawberry Sour Patch Kids, Ritz crackers, and Pringles. (Note: Feel free to find alternate options in your pantry!)

Place a Ritz cracker on the plate for the soldier’s head.

Next, break off the sides of the cracker for the soldier’s body.

Lay a Pringle beside the soldier for the shield.

Create an arm and legs with the pretzel sticks.

Next, make the sword from Pocky sticks.

Finally, create the helmet and shoes from the candy. (I tore off the green color to make smaller pieces.)

Jesus loved the Centurion, and Jesus loves you! And, just like Jesus helped the Centurion soldier, He can help you too.
