Rock and Water

Gather a clear squirt bottle, a clear plastic bin, a rock, and blue food coloring.

Fill the bottle with water, add 1-2 drops of blue food coloring, and shake until mixed.

Take the bin outside and place the rock in it to avoid any indoor mess.

Squeeze the bottle, aiming for the rock, and watch water appear on the rock!

Moses and God’s people were VERY thirsty but knew God’s got it. God told Moses to hit a rock with his stick and when he did, water came out for them to drink! Yay God!

Baby Moses Snack

Gather a banana, a cupcake liner, Fruit Roll-Ups®, mini chocolate chips, and a plate.

Break off roughly 1/3 of the banana and sit it in the cupcake liner.

Place 2 mini chocolate chips near the top of the banana to be eyes.

Tear off a square from the Fruit Roll-Up, roughly 2x2-inches, to be the “blanket.”

Place the blanket on top of “Baby Moses.”  

 God protected Baby Moses in the basket because He had a perfect plan for him. God has a perfect plan for you too. God’s got it!

What Do We Hear?

Gather a white piece of paper and crayons or markers. Option: Print a checklist instead.

 Create a checklist of things you may hear outside by drawing the items. Ex: a dog, cat, car, leaves (falling from a tree), firetruck, music note, bird, airplane, people (talking), etc.

Walk outside and listen for those items. Check them off when you hear them!  

God heard Hagar and her son and gave them what they needed—water to drink! God hears you and can give you what you need too!

Handprint Furnace

 Gather a piece of orange, red, yellow, and black construction paper; scissors; a crayon for tracing; and a glue stick

Trace your child’s handprint on the orange, red, and yellow construction paper.

Cut out each handprint. 

 Glue each handprint onto the black construction paper to resemble fire/the furnace.

God was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the furnace and kept them safe. Just like God was with them, He is always with you too!
