Handprint Sheep





Gather your supplies. You will need blue construction paper, 
black construction paper, cotton balls, glue, scissors, markers/crayons and 
a googly eye. 


Trace your child's hand on black construction paper with pencil. 


Cut traced hand out of black construction paper.


Glue hand to blue construction paper (your hand will be smaller 
because we used an adult hand). Make sure hand is facing down! 


Glue cotton balls to hand to create a sheep! Do not place cotton 
balls on thumb and make sure you leave some space on the fingers for 
legs! Glue googly eye to thumb! (You can draw an eye with a white crayon 
if you do not have a googly eye)  


Decorate outdoor scene for sheep to be standing in.

David and His Brothers




9 popsicle sticks, glue, marker, any supplies you want to use to decorate to 
make people! 


Decorate your popsicle sticks to be David and his brothers. Make sure you 
have a crown for when Samuel crowns David king! 


David and his brothers and Samuel. Use your popsicle stick creations to 
act out the story from 1 Samuel 16!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego



Gather supplies. You will need wax paper, orange and red 
tissue paper, glue, a box lid, a flashlight or battery operated lights, black 
construction paper and scissors. 


Cut four people out of the black construction paper. 


Tear a piece of wax paper the size needed to fit in your box lid. 
Glue people to wax paper. Three together and one to the side. Fill in with 
tissue paper squares. 


Front of what photo 3 looks like completed. 


Cut out window in box top. 


Glue (or tape) wax paper with people into hole in box top. Cut to 
fit, if necessary! 


 Shine flashlight or place battery operated lights behind the box!



Variations:
This could be done with wax paper and tissue
glued together as listed in instructions or wax paper and crayon shavings
and melted together with an iron - adult supervision. stick people cutouts or
sharpie drawn.

Pillars of Fire and Cloud




Gather supplies. You will need two paper towel tubes, glue, 
scissors, cotton balls, orange, red and yellow tissue paper


Glue cotton balls to one of the paper towel tubes. Cover the 
entire tube. 


Cut out small pieces of tissue paper (orange, red and yellow). 


Glue orange, red and yellow pieces of tissue paper to second 
toilet paper tube. 


 Cloud and Fire!



Bag a Burning Bush





Gather your supplies. You will need a small paper lunch bag, glue, 
scissors, yellow, red, orange and green tissue paper. 



 Cut strips, as shown in bag. 


Stand back up straight. 


Grab bottom uncut part of bag and twist. 


Twist two of the cut pieces together all over the bag to form tree branches.


Cut small squares of tissue paper. You can stack all colors together and 
cut at the same time! 


Glue tissue all over tree branches for leaves! You can glue as many as you 
would like!

An Altar Snack


Make an altar of grapes, logs - pretzels; fire - carrot 
sticks or cheese(Cheese curls or candy corn) 


Gather your supplies. You will need grapes, pretzel rods, 
Cheetos™ (you could use the matchstick carrots if you prefer), and a 
plate 


Place grapes in a circle on plate. 


Place pretzel rods on top of grapes to form a fire pit. 


Stand Cheetos™ in center to form flames for fire. 


Enjoy your snack and talk with your preschooler
about the time that God answered
Elijah's prayer!
